THE 4TH ANNUAL WOODLAND WILDLIFE FESTIVAL WILL BE HELD ON OCTOBER 3RD AND 4TH  at the White Mountain Wildlife and Nature Center in Pinetop.  Events begin on Saturday 9 am - 4 pm.  Evening events 7 - 9 pm  Free Admission.  Sunday 9 a.m. excursion events, demonstrations of  fly fishing, nature photography, star gazing.  Information on hiking, birdwatching and much more, wildlife animals will be at the festival brought by Liberty Wildlife and there will be a bird show at 1:00 pm brought to you by Avian Ambassadors.

 

This is the last week that Charlie Clark's will have "The Orchard" open. Your last days are Wednesday-Saturday. There will be live music this Satruday (weather permitting). It's a great area behind the main restaurant that has lots of grass and trees.

Don't worry...for those of you who find it too cold...they have fire pits and heat torches to warm you up. Of course, they serve alcohol for that, too. So after September 26th...no more Orchard until next year.
